PlaneSight How To Steps
Your PlaneSight kit includes three wireless sensors — one for each wing and one for the tail — along with a charger. The kit also comes with a mount to hold your device while using the tug, which can be either suctioned or drill-mounted.
01
Download the PlaneSight App.
02
Login using your credentials.
03
Open the app and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
04
Login using your credentials.
05
Remove each sensor from the case and power them on.
06
In the app, tap “Connect to Begin” and follow the prompts to pair each sensor through Bluetooth.
07
Once connected, each sensor will light up to show its position — left wing, right wing, or tail — based on looking from the front of the aircraft.
08
Put in the information that is prompted in the app.
09
When attaching the sensors to the aircraft, check the arrow on the round part of each sensor to make sure it’s facing the correct direction when prompted in the setup process.
10
The longer-arm sensor goes on the tail of the plane and must be positioned to capture the upper tail wing.
11
Tap the arrow in the bottom corner of the app to start the sensors.
12
To calibrate, tap the three lines in the top corner of the app, then select “Calibrate Sensors.” This ensures accurate and reliable readings.
13
Your sensors are now ready — delivering real-time data directly to your app on your device mounted on the tug.
